Altadena & Pasadena Neighborhood Curb Painting Crew

Small acts have always felt powerful enough to strengthen our neighborhood. Visibility serves not only a practical need—it also reflects the pride shared in our community through beauty and navigation. Growing up in Altadena, I’d run around the neighborhood with friends. If we got separated, they would try to find me using the house numbers for my street address. As a resident today, I noticed that a lot of our curb numbers are really worn down. It’s surprising how quickly they can fade between the sun, rain, and sometimes yard watering can wash them out pretty quickly. The Neighborhood Curb Painting Crew began with an initiative to help ensure that every home, no matter how old or tucked away, can be located and appreciated. We also love to see our neighborhood beautiful.
